Rules & Regulation 001 Preferably be 21+, I'm thirty myself so I prefer my writing partners to be in that similar bracket (or older). I understand there's a wide range of folk who write in this space but it's more of a maturity thing. 002 There is a zero-tolerance policy for misogyny, anti-LGBT ideology, racism, ableism, fatphobia, anti-indigenous ideology, 'zionism', etc. This is non-negotiable. 003 A complete disinterest (and disdain) with interacting with anyone who uses gen AI assets/usage of chatgpt or derivatives, you can and should do better. Create your own work, and consider your motivations for existing in a creative space when relying on such tools. 004 I prefer to avoid Sol9/Alexandrian/'modern' characters, WoL/MSQ/Echo-bearing characters, or Ascians/Ancients. Consider it a clash of vibes, and an over-reliance on MSQ plot beats tends to be dull.

Stylings, & What to Anticipate 005 I can, in the proper contexts, write a great deal. I love multi-paragraph roleplay with plenty of expression and set dressing, actions and what have you. For length, I typically try to mirror the content and context that my my partner is writing at. Being accommodating is important! However, I seldom do one-liner roleplay in one-on-one scenes, it's simply not my preferred style. It's all dependent on context, of course, and I attempt to put as much effort forward to ensure that any roleplay is, first-and-foremost, a fun and comfortable time. 006 When I'm online, I typically idle in the Quicksand or mill about in that area. Never hesitate to send a tell even if I'm AFK! I'm often just tabbed out or not too far away to begin with. I adore forming connections and brainstorming about characters, storyline and headcanon, so if the mood is correct I do not mind adding on Discord for future conversing. 007 I also have a lovely and varied cast of other characters from various corners of the world I'm always excited to write and grow: check out the Homestay!

spWHISPERS OF THE TIDESsp
Among the most important parts of a seafaring crew, to not have a Tidewright aboard calls for a entire host of troubles in both legal and standard maritime realms.A whisper here, a recommendation there, the Admiralty Academy had word that he was in the area. Doru is sat at the edge of the harbor, kicking his feet at the water. He looks young, inexperienced, but you can't deny that twinkle in his eye.The boy is quiet for much of the trip. Many of the crew even forget he's there, yet you find him on deck in the pitch black of night. Something had occurred this evening, but all you see is him standing there, a cup in hand, watching the stars. 'It's dangerous at night, y'know.'
spAMATEUR AS CAN BEsp
You requisitioned a representative from the Trader's Guild for some assistance, your contact was supposed to meet with you half a bell ago and yet— nothing, not until Doru turns the corner and bumps into you, and a conversation ensues. He says that he's the son of a tradesman, he has to know a few bits of the business, right?'Don't bother with the Guild, they're basically paid to fatten themselves. I-I mean, don't get me wrong, yeah? Everyone needs a little coin on the side, at least that's what pa would tell me.'
spLIONHEARTEDsp
A tavern, an eatery, somewhere & anywhere with a seat and an owner that's willing to look the other way, Doru is sat in a quiet corner and twiddling away. A small kit for bending and shaping silver, a needle and a design far, far too intricate for his apparent level of skill. He's whittling away at a craft that, in turn, is whittling away at him. The Falkes, especially the ones he admires, work with their hands to make masterworks, things to be admired and cherished. He burns to join them.'It's not something you're just born with, right? She just says you have to work at it and... agh, you see right here? The warping, it's terrible. M-Maybe it's in the twist of the wrist, huh? Here, help me out...'

As eager to please as he is to go entirely unnoticed. It's difficult, really, to be surrounded by a dwindling greatness and to somehow be found wanting. A boy of intense curiosity with such little means to truly sate it. A guillotine-of-sorts hangs over him, has since he was a babe, only a single hand upon the rope keeps it from coming down upon him. Deftly loyal, perhaps too trusting, but knows the burning disappointment that comes from such a tender proclivity. His professors call him correctly, he is perfectly adequate in so many ways— doesn't carry the moxie of his peers or his siblings, but he is sturdy, reliable, willing to learn if the teacher is patient. The tides call to him in such an interesting manner, not quite like they call to Yulia or Atena, no, something far more sinister reaches to him.'Doru really is a sweet boy, you can't ask for much more than that, can you?'

THE LADY OF HOUSE MUSAT
Doru's story begins with his mother, Yulia Musat, a woman of quiet acclaim in multiple shipyards across southern La Noscea. She is the de-facto head of the Musat house and its few familial chains that, as a whole, serve as one of the four cadet branches of the Falke family. Though her immediate line is smaller in comparison to her two older siblings, twins Arte and Diona, she helms her family in much the same way as she lived the majority of her young adulthood— 'quality over quantity'.Before marrying and adopting the first three of their children, Yulia served among the naval company that came to be known as the Tenday Formation, which reveled in a brief hayday pre-Calamity by means of repelling rogue privateers (then performing similar plunderings themselves). Their collective firepower and expertise led to their titular adage:'What other platoons can't do, their formation can pull in a bloody tenday!'After her marriage and rather shocking retirement from the Formation, Yulia and husband Darius would go on to adopt their first three children. Most of the family whispering at the time assuming that Yulia was grooming herself for induction as the Falke-Musat elder, though a painful amount of years have gone by without so much as an implication of her nomination. For reasons unknown, after the birth of her sole natural-borne child, Yulia hasn't stepped foot on a sea-faring vessel since.
LONELY ROOK
Doru, born into the Musat family as the fourth of Yulia's children, came as a relative shock within the interior politics of the Musat family— one already rich with strife and in-fighting. Some saw it as a power-play, lashing out for not receiving what were seen as 'proper dues' for her tenure and dedication to the family, and rumors still stand to this day that the relative silence of a nomination is due to the powder keg that is Yulia Musat.A boy with little in the way of talent or potential prodigy, Doru spent his fledgling years as something of an afterthought. Never quite skilled enough to join his sisters on their sails, never quite learned enough to help his brother with the trades. Doru, though far from incompetent, never excelled in the way that was expected of a member of the Falke-Musat branch. None provided him much favor, save for his cousin, heir-elect of the main line of the Falke family, Emily. From an early age, she showed near-singular preference for the boy, being eight-years his senior it felt as if he had a proper older sibling to protect and cherish him.Through his teens and into his early-twenties, so many avenues were taken to whip young Doru into proper shape, including his studies at the La Noscean Admiralty Academy of Arcanima and Natural Philosophy— where he would prove... 'adequate'. Though he would become a Tidewright in name himself, he earned little of the respect and prestige of the station.Near ready to be thrown from the family entirely, Doru is instead plucked from the Musat House by none other than Emily Falke, now a proper Tidewright and ship Captain in her own right. Seeing more potential in Doru than the rest of the family, Emily sees to having him shadow her own First Lieutenant, Ophelia Mott, to eventually replace her as Emily's right-hand.
